Warning lights and running problems
A warning light or fault code is a starting point for diagnosis. It does not, on its own, prove which part needs replacing. The symptoms and circumstances matter too.
When you call, explain whether the problem is constant or intermittent, whether it happens from cold or once warm, and what you notice while driving. If you already have a code or a photograph of the dashboard message, keep it to hand.
Checking a car that has already been tuned
Tune checks are available if a vehicle has existing software changes or you want advice before further tuning. Tell us what you know about the current map, hardware modifications and how the car behaves.
If you bought the car already modified, say so. We can discuss the checks available for the vehicle without assuming that the previous work or specification is known.
Planning further ECU tuningDPF, EGR and AdBlue enquiries
For DPF, EGR or AdBlue warning messages, give us the exact message and any previous diagnostic findings. We can discuss diagnostics and the software enquiry for your vehicle before arranging work.
Clearing or suppressing a fault code does not repair its cause. Road-use requirements must be considered before any changes to emissions-control systems; removal or deactivation enquiries are limited to lawful non-road applications.

The scope of a diagnostic appointment depends on the vehicle and problem reported. Call first so we can confirm the checks available and explain the cost before booking.
Vehicle servicing and repairs are also available. If your enquiry is about a known repair rather than a warning light, tell us what has already been identified.

Yes. Vehicle diagnostics are available independently of tuning. You do not need to book a remap to enquire about a fault.
Not necessarily. A code may return if the underlying problem remains. Tell us about any codes that have already been cleared and whether the symptoms changed.
