Booking a vehicle service
Start with the vehicle details and when it was last serviced. The work due depends on the car, its mileage and service history. Let us know if a service reminder is showing or you are unsure what has been done previously.
We will discuss the service required and confirm the scope and price before booking. If you have a particular service item in mind, mention it when you call so we can check whether we can undertake it.
Discussing a repair
Tell us what is happening, when it started and whether the vehicle has already been inspected. A clear description helps us establish whether the requested job is one we can take on and what information is needed for a quote.
If you have a written diagnosis or repair recommendation, have it available when you enquire. We confirm the work we can undertake for your vehicle rather than promising every type of repair.
Not sure what needs repairing?
Describe the symptoms rather than trying to name a part. A warning light, unusual behaviour or repeated fault code may need diagnostic checks before a repair can be agreed.
Diagnostics can be discussed as a separate appointment. Explain any previous work and whether it made a difference, even if the fault returned later.
